FÉLIX AMEZ, INNOVATION DIRECTOR ACCENTURE BELUX

Responsible business and innovation with purpose

This year our Chair Partner Accenture invited our students to work on projects for BeeOdiversity and the Paradise City Festival.

“First of all, we wanted the students to work on projects for organisations that resonate with them,” explains Félix Amez, Innovation Director at Accenture BeLux.

“For Accenture, responsible business and innovation with purpose are at the top of our agenda and influence the way we do business with our clients. That vision is also reflected in our new office on the Tour & Taxis site, which is one of the most sustainable office developments in Europe.”

ACCENTURE & BEEODIVERSITY

“BeeOdiversity creates value by working with companies, local authorities and the community to develop nature-based solutions that aim to restore biodiversity. To monitor pollution and biodiversity, they collaborate with rather special partners — honeybees. The founder of BeeOdiversity is a Fellow of Ashoka, a global organisation that promotes social entrepreneurship. We’ve been supporting Ashoka Belgium from a CSR perspective for the past six years and more. But now we’re stepping up the game: how can we fully integrate responsible business into the solutions we provide to our customers?”

ACCENTURE & PARADISE CITY

“Paradise City is a festival that goes ‘full on’ for a green policy. So much so that it is now recognised as one of the most sustainable festivals in the world. For the third consecutive year, the Paradise City grounds will provide the venue for Accenture’s annual employee celebration event. In addition, we will organise the second edition of our Meet & Inspire hackathon for students and young graduates at Paradise City.”
